WANGANUI RIVER SERVICE.
Starting from December Ist, the-pre-sent time-table of the .Wanganui River service from Taumanmui will be increased. In addition to the present days of starting—.Tuesdays, Thursdays’; and Saturdays at 6.45 a.m.—boats will also leave on Wednesdays and Fridays at 9 a.ln. Passengers by the Friday and Wednesday beats will stay over-night at the houseboat. This increased ■ service is to enable patrons to take this fine trip in easy stages, and avoid ! early morning rises after the , previous long day’s journey from Timpo to Taumanmui, or the late arriving expresses at Tawmaninni, from north and south.
