A GOULBURN TRAGEDY.
Press Association.—Telegraph.—Copyright. SYDNEY, November 2. A farmer named Broderick has died at Goulbourn as the result of a gunshot wound. His son has boon arrested for causing his death. Broderick, when drunk, was assaulting his wife, and his son interposed. Broderick, in nis dying depositions, stated that his son fired in self-defence. • Received November 3, 10.45 a.m. SYDNEY, November 3. Broderick threatened to shoot his wife, when the son interposed, and the father chased him. The son turned and fired the shot.
