WANGANUI AMATEUR SWIMMING CLUB. . ANNUAL MEETING. ■The -annual meeting, of the Wanganui Amateur Swimming' Club was held in Dustin’s rooiris oh Tuesday evening.. Mr D. McFarlane presided over a good attendance. ‘ ■ ■ ■ ANNUAL REPOST.— The, Annual report showed that the' club was in, a very satisfactory condition, there being a credit balance of Jel6 5s 3d. This was largely due to tlie generous donations of Messrs D. McFarlane, ;H. .V., Cooper, A. Hatrick, A. G. Bignell, W. E. Tuck, C. E. Maekay, P. Moore, 'A. E. T. Nixon, J, Williams, 1 arid M. L. Lampe. After referring to the doings of the past year, the report expressed regret at the loss of Mr Bryan Bassett; Wanganui’s; loss had been Hawera’s gain. The report concluded by mentioning the services rendered by Messrs- Cooper and Bov. Jacob, who officiated as. starters during the season, and to Messrs Tuck, Swan, and Williams, timekeepers; to' Mr and 1 Mrs Penhall for many 'little courtesies ■ extended during the season,'and the N Press. . : , ■ OFFICERS.—TIie election of officers resulted as follows—Patron, Mr A.
