MOTOR ACCIDENT.
SMASH UP ON THE AWAHURI ROAD (PALMERSTON). Another accident occurred. bn Tuesday afternoon on the Awahuri Eoad, says the Manawatu Times, when a _ motor cycle, ridden by a Feilding- resident ■ named Young, while turning a corner quickly, collided with a' jiew Fbrd car being driven by- a well-known’ Feilding motorist., The car was only slightly damaged, but the motor cycle was badly smashed, the front wheel being completely buckled and the machine being otherwise injured. ■ The' motor cyclist sustaiiied-a severe cut on the lips, necessitating several stitches.
