BUSINESS NOTES.
To-morrow (Friday), Mr J. H. Keesing will conduct a Bala of household furniture and’ effects ht:tho residence of Mr. Redmond, Wnvorley, commencing at one o’clock, when a superior lot of items will be offered, including telescope dining table, chesterfield suite,. splendid sideboard, choice wardrobes with duchess pair to match, good gig, harness, etc. Mr J. H. Kecsing advertises to sell on Monday, 6th November, at the residence of Mr Littlejohn, Moaaa Lodge, Tayforth, the furniture: and, effects,' cows, 7-year-old mare, heifers, fowls, and ducks. The sale will commence at one o’clock. To-morrow (Friday), starting at 1 p.m., Shepherd Bros, are selling on account of Mr A. N. Galp'in, on the farm, Okoia, his live stock, implements, furniture, etc. The implements and furniture are all in first-class order. We have to acknowledge the receipt of a curiosity from Messrs H. I. Jones and Son, Ltd. The article "in question is a booklet made out of ribbon wood and ornamented with N.Z. ferns. Messrs Jones and Son inform us that they had a small stock of these a few years ago, most of which were purchased for the purpose of sending to the Old Country as Xmas souvenirs, where they were greatly appreciated. The young lady who makes these artistic gems is again at work, and hopes to be able to supply the demand. A card containing Xmas greetings is attached to each booklet. The Wanganui horse fair will be held on Saturday, November 18th,- at Messrs Jackson and Co.’s yards. SECTIONS ON EASY TERMS. Several building sections in splendid positions are advertised for sale on easy terms by Mr John D. Brechin, on page 8. Assistance given to build. In our auction column Shepherd Bros, advertise they are selling, at their rooms. Avenue, the contents of the mart, which includes some nice pieces of furniture, i pianos, Brussels carpets, handsome sideboards, and other first-class articles. As the rooms must be cleared to allow necessary alterations, the goods will be offered without reserve. Full particulars appear in another column. The sale starts at 1 o’clock sharp..
