Mrs Coventry, who was recently arrested on a charge of murder, has been committed for trial. The wife of Captain Coventry (late 17th Lancers) was arrested at Erdington, in the neighbourhood of Birmingham, on a charge of causing the death of Charles. Gilks, a labourer, outside her residence. Gilks was seen in the vicinity, under the influence of drink. His daughter had formerly been in the prisoner’s employ.
