RUSH TO THE GREY VALLEY.

The Reefton Courier of the 17th instant report's-that Mr Warden Broad has received information by telegram that a prospecting - claim had been applied lor at Alumni, by a party of miners from Blackball, near Moonlight, in the Grey Valley. The prospects are not stated, but the gold is reported to he of a coarse, snotty description. The rush, if such it may be termed, is situate about five or miles below the Ahaura, on the north side of the Grey River. The Blackball has been a very productive locality, and is famed for having; turned out some of the coarsest gold found anywhere in the Grey Valley, it is possible therefore that the find may be of some importance, and we can only add that the wish is father to the thought.
