October 6—Waipara, s.s, Basoand, from Greymouth. October 7—Dispatch, p. 3, Kitchingham, from Hokitika. nEPABTUEES. Oct. B—Waipara, s.s, Bascand, for Wellington. The steamer Dispatch, from Hokitika to Greymouth, anchored off the latter port on Tuesday, and held on until losing chain and anchor, and then ran to the Buller for shelter, crossing the bar at 8.30 a.m. on Wtd nesday. The s.s. Waipara, in ballast, from Greymouth to Wellington, put in here on Tuesday night for shelter. She is on her way to Wellington for repairs, for which port she sailed yesterday morning.
