(Before Joseph Giles, Esq., lt.M.) Tuesday, Octobkk G. civil CASES. Bull v. Bishop —Claim for £4 12s, timber and nails supplied. Judgment ■confessed. Costs, 9s. HassaU V. Hodges and Hodges— Claim for £2 damages. Settled out of Court. Came v. Hugh Taylor.—Claim for £5 17s lOd. Balance of account rendered for iron work. Judgment by default for plaintiff in full amount claimed and coats £1 13s. I
Bailie and M'Kenna, v. Logan.— Claim for £IOO. Mr Eishei for plaintiffs, and Mr Shapter for defendants. The claim made was for money paid by the plaintiffs as bondsmen for due performance of an award made on the arbitration between Luke and pjirty (of which plaintiffs alleged defendant had been one) and Perry and party. An encroachment case occurring at Giles Terrace in December, 1808. The plaintiffs claimed £9l lis, money thus paid to the use of the defendant, and £-12 lis interest, less £3l 2s abandoned to bring the case within the jurisdiction of the Court. Judgment reserved until to-morrow.
