If the taker of advertised particular nostrums escape with his life, and his system be not irreparably undermined by them, he may consider himself a fortunate mortal. Those men and women who have been the dupes of unprincipled charlatans frequently seek that recovery, which, alas, is often beyond Dr Smith's control. AVhen will the public understand that it is to their interest to consult a duly qualified medical man, who has made this his sole study; rather than apply to a number of ignorant impostors, who merely harp and prey upon their health and pockets.
