Miscellaneous. TO THE INHABITANTS OE WESTPOET, N.Z. NERVOUSNESS, DEBILITY, AND SKIN DISEASES. DE. L. L. SMITH has devoted himself for twenty years in tho colony to tho practice of this branch of his profession, while previously in tised with the celebrated Dr E. T. Culverwcll, tho only medical practitioner who ever exclusively adop';ed this a3 a sole branch of his profession. He advises sufferers to lose no time, to at once arrest the progress of disease Or decay, before more serious evils affect and leave the unfortunate victim an object of pity. Dr L. L. Smith also warns the public against the quackeries advertised by non-professionaljmen, and that those who resort to them must expect to be ruined in pocket and health. If the taker of advertised particular nostrums escape with his life, and his system be not irreparably undermined by them, he may consider himself a fortunate mortal.
Those men and women who have been the dupes of unprincipled charlatans frequently seek that recovery, which, alas, is often beyond Dr Smith's control. When will the public understand that it is to their interest to consult a duly qualified medical man, who has made this his solo study ; rather than apply to a number of ignorant impostors, who merely harp and prey upon their health and pockets. Dr L. L. Smith has always stated, that to warn the public of thege quicksands is his chief reason for advertising. In all cases of nervous debility, lowness of spirits, impaired memory, pimples on the head, lassitude, «fcc, Dr L. L. Smith invites sufferers to consult him, as he has no hesitation in stating that no medical man, either here or in England, has had the opportunities of practice and the extraordinary experience which he has had. Dr L. L. Smtth has been applied to by so many unfortunate, broken-down, young-old men, utterly crushed in spirits, ruined in body, and filched in pocket, that he deems it his duty to publish this to the Avorld. Therefore, those who really desire to be treated by one who is at the head of his profession in this branch of medical practice, should lose no time in seeking his advice. The New Consulting Rooms are at 182 Colltxs Stbeet East, Opposite the Melbourne Club, (Late the residence of the Governor). Private Entrance is in Stephen street south. Consultation Eke, by letter, £l. Medicines forwarded to all the Colonies, and so packed as to avoid observation.
