The Luna left for Wellington on Tuesday at 10.30 p.m, first towing in the schooner Arthur Wakefield, which arrived in the roadstead from Lyttelton about sundown. The schooner brings a cargo of Canterbury produce, and has discharged on the shingle bank opposite Molesworth street. The steamer Titan left Hokitika yesterday afternoon for Wcstport. The barque Mary Bannatyne was to leave Melbourne for Wcstport on Monday, the 9 th instant.

The West Coast Times of Saturday says : —" The smart little steamer iiio, belonging to Messrs Grey, Boss, and Co., by ■whom she was built at the South Spit, came to her moorings alongside the wharf yesterday, and was the cause of attention to a great many persons throughout the day. She is about 50 tons capacity, exclusive of engine room and boiler. Her engines belonged previouly to the Una, are of twelve horse power, but can bo worked up to twenty-five horse power. The length of her keel is seventy-two feet, and over all seventy-five feet, breadty of beam, thirteen feet, and depth of hold, five feet eight inches. Her crew will consist of the captain, engineer, and three men. We believe sheh chartered by a company at Westport to trade between that port and Ngafcawb.au ; also to tender the ocean steamers at the form port. She will be commanded by Baptain Black, and we wish him and her enterprising owners every success in their undertaking." We are informed that the Ino leaves Hokitika for Westptort this day.
