Miscellaneous. TO THE INHABITANTS OF WESTPOET, N.Z. NERVOUSNESS, DEBILITY, AND SKIN DISEASES. DR. L. L. SMITH has devoted himself for twenty years in the colony to the practice of this brauch of his profession, while previously in England he was the pupil of and practised with the celebrated Dr li. T. Culvenvell, the only medical practitioner who ever exclusively adopted this as a sole branch of his profession. He advises sufferers to lose no time, to at once arrest the progress of disease or 'decay, before more serious evils affect and leavo the unfortunate victim an object of pity. Dr L. L. Smith also warns the public against the quackeries advertised by nonprofessionaljinen, and that those who resort to them must expect to be ruined in pocket and health. If the taker of advertised particular nostrums escape with his life, and his system be not irreparably undermined by them, he may consider himself a fortunate mortal. Those men and women who have been the dupes of unprincipled charlatans frequently seek that recovery, which, alas, is often beyond Dr Smith's control. When will the public under, stand that it i 3 to their interest tc consult a duly qualified medical man who has made this his sole study rather than apply to a number oi ignorant impostors, who merely bar]: and prey upon their health anc pockets. Dr L. L. Sunn has alwayi stated, that to warn the public of thesi quicksands is his chief reason for ad vertisinpr.
In all cases of nervous debility, low. ness of spirits, impaired memory, pimples on the bead, lassitude, &c, Dr L. L. Smith invites sufferers to consult him, as he has no hesitation ia stating that no medical man, either here or in England, has had the oppor. tunities of practice and the extraordi. nary experience which he has had. I)r L. L. SariTii has been applied to by so many unfortunate, broken-dowu, young-old men, utterly crushed ia spirits, ruined in body, and filched in pocket, that he deems it his duty to publish this to the world. Therefore, those who really desire to be treated by one who is at the head of his profession in this branch of medical practice, should lose no time in seeking his advice.
