RECREATION GROUND.

{To the Editor of the Westport times:) Sin, —Having noticed a letter in your columns of the 10th instant, signed " Civis," calling attention to letting >of the reserve, I think it nothing but right and proper that they should be withheld some time longer, as they would have been all taken up years ago if allowed to be leased, as parties in this town at the present time would have been glad to avail themselves of them, before the Council was ever thought of, and I do not think it would be proper for the Borough Council to lease or dispose of them in any way, as no doubt they will be sold by auction at no distant date. Tours, &c., AfcSflA.
