(Before Joseph Giles Esq., 8.M.) Tuesday, Januany 20. civil cases. King v. Temperley. Adjourned from previous setting of Court. In this case judgment was given for plaintiff for amount due for keep of horse, from 27th of May to 26th of November, 1873. The claim for alleged debt accruing before that term being disallowed. King v. Hiller.—Claim for £37, value of hired horse, saddle, and bridle lost by defendant in crossing the Totara river. Mr Fisher for defendant. Plaintiff in person. Judgment for defendant. Augusta Hawkswood v.W. Harrison. Claim for £4 16s 6d, valueof woman's apparel and dress-making work. Mr Fisher for plaintiff. Case adjourned until Saturday next. Derungs v. Lockwood.—Claim for £ll 15s. Board and lodging. Mr Fisher for plaintiff. Judgment for £2 10s, costs, 6s, and Counsel's fee, 21s. Derungs v. Davis.—Claim for £6, board and lodging account. Mr Fisher for plaintiff. Judgment for defendant. Derungs v. Abernethy.—Claim for £3 15s, three weeks board and lodging. Mr Fisher for plaintiff. Judgment for amount claimed, costs, 9s, and counsel's fee, 15s.
