BOROUGH OF WESTPORT. fOTICE is hereby given that the I Following By-law was made by the Council of the Borough of Westport this 21st day of January, 1874: From and after the date of the coming into force of this Bylaw, the owner or occupier of any section or sections or part of any section of land within the Borough of Westport, shall, wiihin threo months from receiving notice in that behalf signed by the Town Clerk, cause the same to be cleared, of all native growing timber, bush, and scrub, and any such owner or occupier neglecting or refusing so to do within three months from the date of such notice, shall, on conviction thereof, forfeit and pay any sum not exceeding Five Pounds, and also a further sum not exceeding Forty Shillings for every day, after such conviction, during which such land shall remain uncleared.
