CAUTION TO LIVERY STABLE KEEPERS AND OTHERS LETTING HORSES.
(To the Editor of the West port Times.)
Sir, —I advise them not to do so till they have taught their horses to swim with sixteen stone on their backs, for if they let them to any cavalry gentlemen who are troubled with delusions of the brain ; and such individuals ride the horses into a river that is running ten to twelve miles the hour and drown the animals, they will get no redress. I intend to appeal against the judgment of the Westport Bench, given against me on Tuesday last, and see what twelve honest men say about it in a higher court. lam G3 years old, and never heard yet that one man may drown another man's horse with impunity, and if that is the law I fail to see that it is justice.—l am, &c.,
Thos. N. Kino. Packers' Point, Jan. 22, 1874.
