The following events were got off on Tuesday at the Rpce Course under the management of the Sports Committee —
Messrs"Blacklock, Emanuel, Clark, Gh White, Stanuard, Came, M'Farlane, and J. Hughes. Amateur Foot Race, 150 yards. Entries, 2s Gd. Prizes, £2 and £l. Four entries or no money ; Six or no 2nd prize. Eight entries were made for this event. Etaveneaux ... ... ... ... 1 Webber ..2 Vaulting with Pole. Fmtries, ss. Prizes, £3 and £l. Three entries or no money ; five entries or no 2nd prize. Six entries. Mason, 7ft. lOin 1 Webber, 7ft. Din 2 H. Hamilton, 7ft. Gin. 3 Boys Handicap Free Race, 100 yards. Prizes 12s Gd and 7s Gd. Fifteen youngsters entered for this contest. Ward 1 Tottenham 2 Wrestling Cumberland and Westmoreland. Entries, 5.-;. Prizes, £5 and £2. Six eutries or no prize. Six entries. The "bouts" were as undernoted : First. —Mason and Mavis —Mavis under. Second. —N. Bull and J. Hamilton — Bull under. Third.—Nattrass and Oroawell — Croawell uuder.
Fourth.—Nattrasa and > Mason— Mason under.
Fifth. —Nattrass and Hamilton— Hamilton under. SixtK.—Nattrass and Hamilton— Nattrass under. Seventh.—Nattrass and Hamilton— Hamilton under. The prize-winners were;— Nattrass ' 1. J. Hamilton 2 Champion Foot Race, Handicap, (points). Distance lot), 250, ana 410 yards. Entrance, 3s. Frizes £3 lOs, £1 10s, and £l. Six entries or no prize ; eight entries or no 3rd prize. Nine entries. The three distances were competed in the following order :

No accident occurred, or disturbance, and the Committee succeeded in giving satisfaction generally to the competitors, and those who witnessed the games. Two or three minor events were omitted from the programme owinu; to insufficient entries, and the sports wound up with tilting in the ring, which was concluded about sundown.
