Police v. J. Maguire, and IT. Maguire. Information laid by police for breach of the public peace. .1. Maguire, o.i three separate charges, was fined 20a and 14s costs, or IS hours imprisonment with hard labor ; 40s and Kis Od costs, or 4 days imprisonment; and 20s and 16s Gd costs, or 48 hours imprisonment, and Henry Maguire 20s penalty and 14s costs, or 4N hours imprisonment. Similar charges against Fred. Powell and Charles Crowall stand adjourned. civrr. cases. Brown v. W. Foster.—Claim for £1 10s Od, drapery goods supplied. No -appearance of defendant. Judgment for amount claimed, and costs 19s. M'Elwee v. Jones.— Judgment summons. Defendant, who pleaded inability to satisfy immediate judgment, was ordered to pay the debt and costs, -amounting to £0 lis Gd, by instalments of 30s per week, or in default to suffer 14 days imprisonment.
