IN pursuance of " The Regulation of Election Act, 1870," I, Joseph Giles, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Westport, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a writ bearing date the 14th day of October, 1573, under the Public Seal of the Colony, an ELECTION will be held for the RETURN of TWO qualified persons to serve as MEMBERS of the PROVINCIAL COUNCIL of Nelson for the said Electoral District, and that the NOMINATION of CANDIDATES will take place at the COURT HOUSE, Westport, at Noon, on MONDAY, the 17th day of NOVEMBER, 1873, and that the POLL, if necessary, will be taken on MONDAY, the 24th day of NOVEMBER, 1873.
