PROVINCIAL REVENUE.

The Provincial Gazette, ot the 9th instant, contains the usual abstract of receipts and disbursements of the Provincial Treasurer, Nelsou, during the quarter ending 30th September, 1873. The total receipts amount to £13,913 Is 7d, and the disbursements £17,041 5s Bdj the debit balance to be carried on to next quarter, making, with excess of payments over expenditure during previous terms £13,716 Is 6d. The items of revenue are: —Capitation allowance, £3172 4 s Id; Goldfield revenues, £l7Ol 12s 2d; publicans and other .icenses, £035 12s ; harbor, £2Ol lis 3d; Government wharves, £303 0s Sd : Scab and Dog Acts, £491 5s 4d; Education Kate, £2BG 10s; Brunner Coal-mine, £1755 2s Gd; Miscellaneous, £l6l 8s 6d ; and Land Fund, £-1898 Gs Id.
