This is to notify, that JOHN JOSEPH HOWARD, of Auckland, hi the Province of Auckland, Fainter, did on the fifth day of September instant, deposit at the office of the Patent Officer, in the Colonial Secretary's Office, in Wellington, A specification or instrument in writing Under his hand and sen!, particularly describing and ascertaining the nature of the said invention, and in what manner the same is to be performed ; arid that by reason of such deposit the said Invention is protected and secured to him exclusively for the teriri of six calender months thence next ensuing.
