It is authoritatively stated that a shipping company, immediately iden titled with the trade of Otago, will shortly be started by the leading merchants of Dunedin. A proposal has been made to the Albion Shipping Company to transfer their ships and interest to the new company . An influential committee has been appointed to forward the negotiations. The shares are expected to be offered in four months hence.
