A SUGGESTION.

{To the Editor o?tlie West port Times.) Sir, —Being a new arrival in Westport, I was not aware until Tuesday last it was an infringement of the Harbor Regulations to remove the drift wood from the beach, allow me therefore through your columns to suggest that the authorities cause two boards to be erected notifying the same, say one at Dr. Thorpe's, and another in the vicinity of the Miners Rest Hotel, as a warning to those who may follow me and in ignorance get into trouble.—l am &c. New Chum.
