(Before Joseph Giles, Esq., R.M.) Tuesday, July 15. POLICE CASE. Fielder v. Poingdestre. Charge of vagrancy and using obscene language. Postponed until next sitting of the Court. CIVIL CASES. Carlisle v. Verran. - Judgment summons. Mr Shapter for plaintiff. Claim for £7 8s 6d. Order made for payment by weekly instalments of 7s, or in default six weeks imprisonment. W. J. Patterson v. McDowell.—Claim for £58 2s 3d. Balance of account for goods supplied. Judgment given plaintiff for amount claimed and costs 17s.

Brinkley and Sams v. Meredith, —Mr Fisher for plaintiffs—Mr Shapter for defendant. Claim for £37 7s 6d for sawn timber and for labor in constructing a water wheel. The claim was disputed, as excessive, and judgment was given plaintiffs for £28 7s 5d and costs £6 7s 5d. Green v. Carne,—Claim for £3 15s, work and labor in erecting a timber fence. Judgment for plaintiff in amount claimed and costs £2 2s.
