Up to a certain amount, Married Women may effect Policies, and dispose of the money assured by will, as if single ; and such Policies are free from the debts and control 1 of their husbands. 1 3. Insurances may be effected for the benefit of wife and children, with power to apportion amount; and such insurance is to be free from the claim of creditors, to the extent of £2OOO.
