An appearance has been entered to the action in the Court of Admiralty, on tho part of the owners of the Murillo, under protest; and the case will proceed on petition. The suit was instituted for £14,000 by the owners of the Northfleet, and a, citation was issued, on which an appearance has been entered. Advices from San Fernando state that the Committee of Inquiry, charged to examine tho steamer Murillo, declared that she wa3 not the vessel which ran down the Northfleet. The Murillo ha 3 been released. It is proposed to import live cattle from Nebraska to reinforce the meat supply of the United Kingdom. The experiment has been successfully tried, oxen having been delivered at Liverpool for Gd. per lb.
