POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANK The New Zealand Gazette, of March 25th, publishes the following regulations foi the hanks as above newly established at Ch'ist* church, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Timaru, Akrnnn Ilokitika, Greymouth, Waimate, 'Westport and Charleston. 1. Interest at the rate of 4 per cent, per annum is given on £2OO and under ; at the rate of 3 per cent, per annum on cuius under £SOO ; and in the same proportion for any shorter time on every compTcte £1 deposited, provided that no interest be allowed on more than £SOO. 2. Depositor? hi the Post Office Savingls Banks have dtlrjet Government Security for the prompt repayment of their money. 4. The strictest secresy is observed with respect to the names of depositors in Post (iffice Banks, and the amounts of their deposits. 3. A depositor f n any one of the Post Office Banks can continue his deposits at any other of such Banks, and can withdraw his money at that Post Office Bank which is most convenient to him by giving notice of his re« moval. 6. Money may be deposited by or on behalf of minors. Depositors over seven years of age are treated as persons of full age, but minors under seven years of age cannot withdraw their deposits until they have reached the age of seven. 7.
