MELBOURNE. Feb. 15.. The 'Age' sees in the new railway loan a determination to connect Port Sydney with tho head of the navigation of the Murrumbidgee river. The total amount of the Government loan taken up is £GO,OOO. The Cape Paterson Coal Company has been revived. Quack is the favorite for the Melbourne Cup at 4 to 1. In the breach of promise action brought by Miss M. E. Kull against Aden, editor of the ' Argus' damages are laid at £5,000. Defendant pleads that he gave £I,OOO in 1872 as an instalment. The 'Argus' says that the action brought is against good faith and to make matters public. Flour £l2 for parcels ; no wheat offering, and is quoted at 5s 3d to 5s 4d ; sugars, very firm. An advance is posted on yesterday's sales of Martian's ale at £8 17s 6d; pig iron, £8 ; kerosene. Is lOd. SYDNEY. Feb. 15. Wallis, lately expelled from the betting ring, goes home by the same vessel as the Governor. An Electoral Reform Bill has been introduced. ADELAIDE. Feb. 14. Five thousand five hundred tons of breadstuff's were exported last week. Parliament is further prorogued till 2Sth March. Sales of wheat, 4s Gd to 4s 7d ; the market is very firm; 100 tons of country flour sold at £lO 15s.
