COLLIERY RESERVE, W BSTPOE T. IT is notified for genoral informa-1 tion that a BENT of FIVE POUNDS per annum will be charged for the occupation of each allotment on tho Colliery Reserve. It ia the intention of the Provincial Government to apply to the Council for power to grant leases for fourteen years to those persons who shall have built on their allotments before the 31st of December next, occupation until that date being allowed on payment of Five Pounds. That a competent Ferryman be always in attendance, with a good safe boat and proper rope for crossing horses. 2. That all Government Officers, including road overseers, laborers, and postmen, when on duty, shall be ferried across the said river free of charge. This protection shall not be transferred without the sanction of the Superintendent. The Warden of the District shall, on being satisfied that the Ferry service is not being conducted in a proper and efficient manner, and in accordance with the above conditions, have power to suspend the operation of this protection until the matter of complaint bo removed.
