The Garibaldi sailed at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, for Greymouth. The Waiparaleft Greymoutb. for Westport at 2.30 p.m. yesterday. Up to 5 p.m. yesterday, no news had been received of the Kennedy irom south■wavd. On and after the 24th January, 1873, the light on the old wharf at Picton will be discontinued, and a red light will be exhibited -on the end of tho new wharf from sunset to sunrise.—Thomas Philpotts.
