POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANK

The Aiew Zealand Gaiette, of March 25th, publishes the following regulations foi the banks as above newly .'B Christ church, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Tirr»* u, Akra<m Ilokitika, Grcymouth, Waimatej, Westport and Charleston. 1. Interest at the rate of 4 per cent, per annum is given on £ 2OO andtfVidwr; at the rate of 3 per cent, per annum on sums under .£SOO ; and in the same proportion for any shorter time on every complete £\ deposited, provided that no interest be albwtd on more than .£SOO. 2. Depositors hi the Post Office Savingla Banks have duvet Government Security for the prompt repayment of their money. 4. The strictest secresy is observed with respect to the names of depositors in Post Office Banks, and the amounts of their deposits. 3. A depositor in any one of the Post Office Banks can continue his deposits at any otl r ci j of such Banks, and can withdraw his n.on'sv / at that Post Office Bank which' is most convenient to him by giving notice of his removal. 6. Money may be deposited by or on bo half of minors. Depositors over seven years of age are treated as persons of full age, but minors under seven years of age cannot withdraw their deposits until thoy have reached the age of seven. 7.
