A Gazette notice dated the 4th instant notifies that the N. Z. Ma tors' certificate of service No. 2002, held by John Bain lata master of the barque " City of Newcastle" has been cancelled.
The Schooner Bose of Eden arrived on the 18th from Dunedin, sailing in at morning tide. She brings a cargo of general produce. Tho St Kilda anchored in the roadstead at 7 yesterday morning, after a quick run from Wanganui. She crossed the bar at 10 and discharged her cattle freight at the South Spit without casnality. She left for Greymouth at midnight.
