Chapman, master, sailed from Lyttelton on iho 17th instant, and arrived in the roadstead on tin; evening of the 25th, having beaten up against N.K. winds to Gape Campbell j meeting with S.B. wind off Capo Farewell, and light easts and calms up to arrival; and beating in by the northern channel on Tuesday afternoon, mooring at the Cobden street wharf. She brings a full consignment of produce to the order of Mr C4oorge Falla, and which haa been landed in excellent condition. The 6ehoonev Jupiter from Lyttelton, consigned to Messrs Uaiiie and Humphrey, may bo expected within a few tides. The p.s. The Result reports fl feet of water on the Mgakawhau bar, but as the tides are making there will be eight feet by Sunday next, which will permit the Waipara to steam in and out with safety. The brigautine Lizzie Cay, from Melbourne, arrived in the roadstead yesterday sat noon.
