At the cattle sales, yesterday, fat cattle brought 23s 6d to 27s Gd per lOOlbs ; West Coasters, 30s to 355. Prime merino sheep, shorn, 13s to 16s ; unshorn, 15s. NELSON. November 14. Mr Shephard has addressed his constituents. He said he voted against Eox on account of his designs with regard to the West Coast, and ho voted against Stafford because ho had no confidence in him generally, and he mistrusted his earnestness as to public works. He did not think that Eox and Stafford were the only two men in the House fit to assume the leadership, and expressed himself without confidence in tho present Ministry. A vote of confidence was passed.
