The twin-screw steamer Go-a-head, from Wanganui, arrived here yesterday afternoon with a full freight of sheep and cattle for this port and Greymouth. She attempted to take the bar at. dead low water, but drawing six feet eight inches she stuck on the soft sand bottom for half au hour or so ■until the tide had turned, when she came in easily about 1.30 p.m. She left again in the evening for Greymouth. The St Kilda may be expected from Wanganui on Wednesday next.
