THE WESTPORT COMMITTEE of MANAGEMENT invite Claimholders throughout the Goldfields to furnish specimens of Quartz, Washdirt, Coals, Minerals, and Ores, for transmission to the Colonial Exhibition, to be held in Christchureb in December next. A.t tho Christchurch Exhibition it is intended to select the best articles, subject to the approval of the owners, for the Vienna Exhibition in 1873. Intending contributors are requested to inform the Secrctnrv, as earlv as possible, of the character and number of the objects they desire to show.
