(from our ow correspondents.) WELLINGTON. Oct. 21. A Gazetto proclamation appoints Leslie's office Lvell, as an additional polling place for the Buller district. The Court House Reefton ; Ramsay's store Black's Point; the Police Camp Matakitaka, as additional polling places for the district of for elections to the Provincial Council and for Superintendent.

Mr Ormond, Minister of Puhlic Works, made his statement on Friday night. He said that 704 miles were to be authorized for construction.
