Wool—Nothing doing in the Melbourne market, but new clip arriving freely. Messrs C. look forward to good competition when the market is fairly opened out. Sheepskins have realised full prices; butchers green skins, 4s Gd to 8s 61; eross-breds up to 9s 3d ; dry skins, 2s 9d to 6s lid; station, 7d to 9sd per lb. Hides, improving in prices for all descriptions. Ox: hides given, 24s to 25s ; cow hides, 17s to 24s ; wet salted. 4Jd to o.Vd per lb ; calilskins, sid to 7id. Tallow—lnferior, L29toL3oj beef, L 33 to L3o ; mixed, L 34 to L 36 10s ; mutton, L 37 to £3B ss. Leather —Kip 20d to 2<Jd; calf, 2s 6d to 3s 9d; sole, I'd to Hi I; basils, 6s Odperdo;; harness, 13d to l-i:d.
