POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANK

The New Zealand Gazette, of March 25th, publishes the following regulations foi the banks as above newly established at Civ ist church, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Tima.ru, Akruou Ilokitika. Grovmouth, Waimr.te, Westport and Charleston. 1. Interest at the rate of -1 per cent, per annum is given on £2OO and under ; at the rate of 3 per cent, per annum on Funis under £SOO ; and in the same proportion for any shorter time on every complete £1 deposited, provided that no interest be allowed on more than £SOO. _>. A depositor in any one of the Post Off ce Hanks can continue his deposits at any other of such Banks, and can withdraw his "money at that Post Office Bank which is most convenient to him by giving notice of his removal. 6. .Money may be deposited by or on bt* half of minors. Depositors over seven years of acre are tve ited as persons of full age, but minors under seven years of age cannot withdraw their deposits until they have reached the .i.ee of seven. 7.
