The Charles Edward, leaving hero last Saturday morning at 9 a.m. arrive! at Nelson on, the foil wing morning at 3 a.m. The Wallace came in on Sunday evening from Nelson under charge of Captain Palmer, and loft at 8 p.m. last evening for south.
The s.s. Kennedy, from Wanganui, with a shipment of cattle for the West Coast, may be expected to call in here on Wednesday next on her trip southward. The Wanganui will probably arrive hero about Saturday with a full shipment of cattle and sheep direct for the Bailor. The Garibaldi sailed yesterday from Hokitika with a full cargo of timber for t!ii< port. Wind and weather favoring, she may be expected to put in an appearance about sundown.
