Service No. 1 may be tendered for to be performed by mail cart, and service No. 4 may be tendered for to be performed by boat. Each Tenderer will he required to give security, as provided for on the form of tender, for a sum equal to 20 per cent, ou the amount of tender, binding the tenderer to take up the service tendered for and execute the necessary contract bond in the event of his tender being accepted. Porms of tender and security, with terms and conditions of contract, may be procured at any Post Office. No tender will be considered eligible unless made on the printed forms provided by the Department.
