The steamer Wallace, of the Anchor Line, is now laid up at Nelson, undergoing a thorough overhaul, and also some extensive alterations, which, when completed, will add much to the convenience of the passengers. Deck cabins are to be built similar to those of the Charles Fdwnrd, and improvements made in the present saloon arrangements. Tho schooner Zephyr, belonging to Messrs f liesnoy Bros., arrived in the roadstead on Saturda? afternoon, after a smart run from Melbourne, hiding left th.it port on the 21st instant.
