"\TOTICE is hereby given that by X i deed bearing date the second day of September, 1872, made between Patrick Hehir and Peter Molloy, formerly of Charleston, in the Province of Nelson, in the Colony of New Zealand, storekeepers, but lately of Westport and the Landing, in the said Pro vince, Carriers and Forwarding Agents of the first part ; Thomas Bailie, of Westport aforesaid, Merchant, and James Powell, of Westport aforesaid, Merchant, of the second part; and the whole body of the creditors of the said Patrick Hehir and Peter Molloy, of the third part; the said Patrick Hehir and Peter Molloy assigned the whole of their real and personal estate to the said Thomas Bailie and James Powell in trust for division among their creditors. The said deed was executed in the presence of and is attested by James Bickerton Fisher, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, and was filed in the District Court Office this day, where it now lies for signature.
