POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANK
The New Zealand Gazette, of March 25th, publishes the following regulations foi the banks as above newly established at Ch'ist church, Lyttelton, K:iiapoi, Tlraavu, Akrnoa Ilokitika, Greyniouth, YVaimate; VVestport and Charleston. 1. Interest at the rate of 4 per cent, pet annum is given on £2OO and under ; at the rate of 3 per cent, per annum on turns under £SOO ; and in the same proportion for any shorter time on every complete £\ deposited, provided that no interest be allowed on more than £SOO. 2. Depositors in the Post Office Savinclt Banks have di»vct Government Security for the prompt rej/Aymeat of their money.
