WESTPORT WARDEN'S COURT.
(Before J. Giles, Esq., "Warden.) Tuesday, Atjotjst 6. George Goodall v. Charles Dillmer. —Mr Fisher For plaintiff. Complaint that the defendant, on the 18th day of July, did unlawfully interfere with a mining claim, belonging to the defendant, at German Terrace, by posting certain notices thereon, and representing that the same belonged to him. The plaintiff claiming a cessation of interference, and peaceable possession. The summons was dismissed. The Warden ruling that no case of prior lawful possession hod been disclosed by the evidence. APPLICATIONS. James McGavin applied for lease of 7 acres on Shamrock Lead, Addison's Flat, the ground to be worked by fourteen men. Recommended at a rent of £2 pound per acre. Patrick Galvin and George Forman applied for head race at Mountain Creek. Objected to by John Dudgan. Refused. An application by the same parties for race on Addison's Flat was objected to by Myles McPadden and Patrick Byrne on the ground that objectors held an unexpired certificate, valid up to the 4th of July, 1873, for the race applied for. Refused.
