Grey Valley—Vote, .85200; expenditure, £llBB 15a 6d; excess, £4Oll 4s 6d. Road, Charleston to Westport via Addison's—Vote, £1900; expenditure, £1587 6d 8d; excess, £312 13s 4d. Road, Westport to Cobden—Vote, £1200; expenditure, £llßs 3s Id; excess, £l4 16b lid. District Koads—Vote, £1000; expend:. ture, £IBO 7s 6d ; excess, £Bl2 12s 6d. Harbora, Signal Stations, &c.—Vote, £700; expenditure, £315 13a Id; excess, £384 6s Ud. Buildings—Vote, £2000; expenditure, £1612 19a lOd; excess, £387 3s 23, Cemetries—Vote, £250; expenditure, £177 5s Sd; excess, £72 14s lOd. Streets and Local Improvements—Vote, £300; expenditure, £262 lid 6d; excess, £37 8s 6d. Roads and Bridges, maintenance and repairs—Vote, £2000; expenditure, £1662 16s 6d; excess, £367 3a 6d. Beach Road, Brighton to Razorback— Vote, £1000; expenditure, £l3; excess, £987. Brunner Coalmine—Vote, £S000; expenditure, £5406 9s 4d; excess, 10s Bd. Jt»*» Total Vote £29,900 0 0 Total Expenditure ... 15,819 13 0 Total Excess 14,060 7 0 The entire departmental Totes for the whole Province amounted to £96,173 12s id, and the expenditmre to £68,006 4s 7d. The votes allowed to lapse amounted therefore to a total of £28,644 13s 2d, divided in the following proportions:—Settled Districts, £14,564 6s 2d; South-west Goldfields, £14,080 7s.
