The schooner Blaokwall, from Lyttelton, in. crossing the bar nt the northern channel, at half tide on Wednesday evening, got safely through until breasting the spit, where sho stuck for some, but by means of kedge anchor and line, she was, as the tido rose, got safely off without further mishap, and is now moored in mid stream. She brings a full cargo of produce. The schooner Colleon Bawn has been sold at Wanganui for £3OO. The Tongariro has made a successful trial trip. Mr Webb has written to the Auckland Harb r Board respecting increased wharf accommodation. The ship Helensleo, from London, has arrived at Auckland, after a rough passage, during which a portion of her bulwurks was broken. The Seagull, arrived at Auckland from Fiji, reports her Majesty's ship Cossaok to be lying in Lovuka harbor. The brig Carl, 100 toils, was seized for slavery, and her crew charged with kidnapping 100 aboriginals. The crew are prisoners cm board the Cossack. It is alleged that lives have been freely sacrificed during the Carl's cruise. The community at Lovuka is unsettled, and a large se: tion of the inhabitants are opposing the Government, who propose to arm 5000 Fijians in order to enforce their measures. Tho Freight! Company has decided to increase the capital to £15,000, in order to allow other provinces to como in. All the sliares are being taken up.
