A Goneral Government Gazette issued on the 22th (lit. fixes the rates of pilotage to be paid by vessels entering the port of Wangfinui. They are as follows:—-"All vessels when piloted by signals from tho staff only. Id per ton register. River pilotage to be charged for any assistance rendered by the pilot or any of his crew inside the bar, 2d per t>n register. When the pilot boards or cinducts a vessel outside the bar, 3d pt-r ton register." These charges may be made both inwards and outwards.
