POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANK The New Zealand Gazette, of Marcli 2oth publishes the following regulations foi thi banks as above newly established at Christ church, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Timaru, Akraoi Hokitika, Greymouth, Waimate, Westporl and Charleston. ; 1. Interest at the rate of 4 per cent, pe annum is given on £2OO and under ; at tin rate of 3 per cent, per annum on sum under £SOO ; and in the same proportion S any shorter time on every complete £l de posited, provided that no interest be allow on more than £SOO. 2. Depositors in the* Post Office Saving!; Banks have direct Government Security fo the prompt repayment of their money. 3. A depositor in any one of the Post Offio Banks can continue his deposits at any othe of such Banks, and can withdraw his monej at that Post Office Bank which is most con venient to him by giving notice of his k moval. 4. The strictest secresy is observed wit] respect to the names of depositors in Pos Office Banks, and the amounts of their de posits. 6. Money may be deposited by or on be half of minors. Depositors over seven year of age are treated as persons of full age, ta minors under seven years of age cannot witl draw their deposits until they have reache the age of seven. 7.
